In Bloemfontein: History was made again!

15 years apart, I came to see the Nigerian Super Eagles during the world cup 2010 and ever since I always want to come back.

It took me a thrilling 10 hours in one of Inter Cape Mainliner to be back to the Toyota Stadium in Mangaung, Bloemfontein. The bus left park station in Johannesburg at 9am and arrived 10 minutes pass 7pm.

Even though, I missed the first half of the game, South Africa vs Nigeria FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifying match; I jumped out of the bus and ran straight to the stadium, when the driver finally pulled over.

The game ended 1-1 in both halves, but I was delighted to repeat history of my own.

The Free State, since I last came; was green but is also good to see how it looks in Springs. I rambled the city at nights. On Small Street, I cashed out at the ATM and went into the shops for neediest as I journeyed back to my base in Johannesburg.

Nigeria is out of the world cup race but I'm glad to unlock business opportunities through the trip, unwind my thoughts and see possibilities in the gap I discovered in the Free State.

The Nigeria Super Eagles came with jollof rice, but it seems it wasn't enough to go round!
