Lillian Ngoyi Street: Open to use

For pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists, the gas-blown apart, Lillian Ngoyi Street, finally opens.

This is a huge relief to residents and businesses around this area after over two years of constructions and every day of uncontrollable noises from the sites.

The city of Johannesburg and the mayor office finally declared the street open to all on the 12th day of September 2025
