Adidas Runner Johannesburg RYC.

Adidas bringing into our community a fresh running event that would promote fitness keeping and allow people to connect.

The event which is stated for 3rd of December, 2016 would usher in a throng of people across the country. The race allows a six-person crew to compete from the starting line in Newtown (Sci Bono Centre) at 7pm.

Braamfontein Alive spotted some group of runners this afternoon in preparation of the race after a short visit to Adidas Area 3. This initiative brings all Adidas Runners communities local and international together while encouraging people to live an active and healthy lifestyle through road work.

This event would see winning crew go home with amazing prizes for the conclusion of this 12km race. 

Pieter Warnich, senior manager Running at adidas South Africa in a statement with Mzansi Life stated that “What better way to celebrate the year end in Johannesburg? Created around existing urban running behaviours, we’re aiming to bring together young, urban runners and welcome everyone to the adidas Runners community. Runners will be able to train for RYC with their crews at our weekly runs hosted at Runbase, the home of adidas Runners,”
