Last Night Mexico Finally Took Bafana-Bafana's Job.

Is been a long time coming between Mexico and South Africa in the FIFA Senior Men's Football World Cup. 

Dating back to October 1993 when the two sides faced each other for the first time in a friendly match that ended Mexico 4 vs South Africa 0.

Basically, Mexico and South Africa have faced each other 5 times in international men's football. Mexico holds the advantage with 3 wins, while South Africa has 1 win and 1 match has ended in a draw.

June 2000: Mexico 4 - 2 South Africa (US Nike Cup).

July 2005: South Africa 2 - 1 Mexico (CONCACAF Gold Cup, Group Stage).

June 2010: South Africa 1 - 1 Mexico (FIFA World Cup, Group A).
