Are you paying water bills?

After almost a week of water cut across Johannesburg metropolitan, the latest arising question is - are you paying those water bills?

Residents in Braamfontein were seen carrying water in kegs, gallons, buckets and other voluminous containers from other residents with running water from their taps, reservoir and storage.

The water cut that turned the community to a remote village within three to four days are now back, but some residents are still complaining of water cuts.

Rand Water Johannesburg made it known to all its various customers to gear up for a three-day water cut which ended on the 4th of July to allow the company to upgrade their system and fix damages in their facilities across the province.

Rumours have it that resident with no water after the cut is as a result of their building owing water bills!
