Happy June 16 ZA

Source: Dept. of Sports, Arts & Culture

This day is set aside to honour, recognize and celebrate the passed away and gallant youths of 1976. These are students from a township in Soweto who stood their ground through a number of protests to redefine how the government of Apartheid bring prejudice into schools in a form of segregation and bad policies.

These policies sidelined Black South African students and up till this present age, black students suffer the most because of the syndrome. With over 30 years after the draconian era; yet there are numerous students mostly from less privilege homes or stereotyped black communities deprived of their rights to education or lack of interest in the western education.

Today is holiday all over South Africa but no doubts the youths are trying to catch up in almost everything because of the dark times of Apartheid or they focus more time on frivolous activities that lead to more consumption of illicit drugs, Indian hemps, alcohol and other substances.

South African youths of today are of age but still missing the link and as a concern resident; is time for them to be done chasing the wind and be ahead of time!

Is high time they left the time of redundancy!

Watch out for my third book title "Success; in the making" high lightening the process of moving from chasing into be ahead; amongst others.
